The question of the day is whether one should use high ranked websites to promote their online work at home business.

My simple answer to that is YES.

See, if you want to get more and more targeted traffic to your website/link then this is a great strategy to use because those websites that you see on page 1 of Google do get lots of hits per day for competitive keywords.

If you find a site on Google for a low searched term then don't waste your money there. I would encourage you to only work with competitive keywords. Example: Go and do a search for "make money online". On the first page, you will see the top 10. Look at each one and see if they are offering any type of advertising on their site.

Usually they will either allow you to email their list or post your ad as text on the home page. You can and should use both.

You can spend anywhere between $100-$200 per text ad that will appear on their site for a month. I know some site that will charge more then that. So the secret is to test things out and see which one performs really well.

You also want to track everything from each site that you use. Even though you may think that this particular site may get you lots of clicks and sales, you may be wrong. I had one site that I thought would get me tons of hits per day. I found out, after spending $200 with them, that I would get maybe 1 click per day. That is bad in my view.

You want to work with websites that can get you anywhere between 10-30+ visitors per day.
